VZVBs play Folklife

The VZ Valley Boys are looking forward to playing Seattle’s Folklife Festival on Friday, May 28, from 7:10-7:40 PM at the Northwest Court Stage. We’ll do this show as a trio playing tunes from the VZ Valley box of songs.
We’ve had a couple of times we’ve gotten together for a surprise appearance here and there, but we’ve also been out on our own adventures. Jette has been playing music all over the northwest with Northern Departure (who will also be at Folklife) and other endeavors. Sparky continues to make the world safe for democracy, not an easy task, given his situation. After all, its hard to travel undercover when you’re packing a stand-up bass. And Al’s hawked banjos on all corners of the country, just getting back from a trip to Merlefest and Smoky Mt Banjo Camp.
But we’re all in one place now, and rip-roaring ready to play for you at Folklife! See you there!
